Lasagna - my version

my special day and to satisfy my cravings - made lasagna .. :D bought the basic ingredients minus the italian sausage - i really haven't tried the sausages here -so to play safe - nothing na lang. actually i started making the lasagna on the 3rd, sunday afternoon ... so by the time my flatmates came home in the evening - it was all ready. i served them one dish and hehehe .. they loved it! and i am happy coz they loved it!!!

this is the first dish that came out of the oven - though the toppings didn't brown the way i like it to ... hehehe but still yummy so they say - lyn my new flatmate said it tasted like greenwich!! wow ... (palakpak tenga naman ako!)

and this was what was left after they devoured it .... hehehehe






i made another tray - the bigger one was sent to my friends in the office and the smaller one was for my 'friend' - hehehe. My friends in the office called me after they had it for lunch (with KFC) and complimented me on the very yummy (their words!) lasagna .... as they said: "Wagi" daw! hehehe - another palakpak tenga ( tho deep inside me thinking: wow! natumbok ko yata yung lasa! heheh) happy, happy ako ....

when i brought the smaller tray to my friend ( i warmed it up a bit kaso medyo nalimutan ko nang konti sa oven! ahahah) aba, aba.. tikman lang daw niya coz kumain na siya ... kwidaw ! anong tikim?!?!?! my friend almost finish that tray! ahahaha.... so yummy daw and asked me next time - to bring a bigger tray! i also brought along some of the apple streusel cupcakes i made - though i was not able to send these to my friends in the office - mabibitin sila eh! hehehe

and my friend surprised me with a gift (again! hehehe)

and was like apologetic because was not able to get me a cake! ... took out a blueberry muffin from the fridge ... and gave it to me singing happy birthday ..... and me naman ... lighted a tea candle - the only available i can find in there! and put it atop the muffin! hehehe .. we had a good laugh after - coz i told her the tea candles are better than the long candles (kandilang esperma as we call it at home) ahahahahah.

so sweet di ba? .. knowing that they thought of you in some ways and had not forgotten your special day .... :D ( hey .. i'm not talking about the camera! wehehehehe - i even teased my friend - saying : ehh i why not a slr cam sweetie!?!?!?!) and the reply: sa christmas!!!! (if may bonus daw sila!) ahahahaha sana nga!

still on cravings ...

since last week i was craving for something i cannot really pinpoint.. then finally i knew what i was craving for! pasta !!!! i stirred up some sauce with whatever is in my pantry (which is not much really heheh ) and came up with tomato sauce with corned beef :D - a bit of carrots and bell pepper.. cooked the spaghetti noodles and mixed all in... a little bit of cheese and viola! yummylicious corned beef spaghetti!!!

but then... after that .. i still have a craving .... finally, i said to myself .. ok ok lasagna it will be then .. :D made a list of what to buy and off to the supermarket i went!!!! can't wait !!!!
